CREATOR’S STORY
As a sergeant in the military, Richard D. Cooks Sr. fought for his country for over thirty years. He served all across the world in places such as Italy, the Hawaiian Islands, and Haiti. During his service, he managed to build a family and launch a career in entertainment, hosting a weekly radio show while representing models and actors.

But Sergeant Cooks' greatest battle occurred far after he returned from overseas. Out of the blue, an undetected tumor on his heart caused a massive stroke that required emergency surgery. While Sergeant Cooks survived, he suffered substantial brain damage that led to vision loss, body weakness, and aphasia. This marked the beginning of an enlightening journey to beat the odds and rediscover himself.

ART
During the process of rediscovering himself, once an avid photographer, Honored Veteran Richard D. Cooks Sr. decided to rebuild his mind in order to continue creating his favorite form of art. Through the process of overcoming his vision loss, Richard now physically sees the world differently than the rest of us. Deciding to turn his “visual impairment” into artistic expression, Richard has started the Pro Level Entertainment NFT Project. Each unique piece of art that has been taken by him throughout his recovery journey is now an NFT. Own a piece of art taken and created by a Visually Impaired Honored Veteran expressing his love for nature and rediscovery.

MISSION
The project will support this honored veteran’s dream, to spread his new vision of the Worlds’ beauty through his art. Also, a portion of the proceeds collected from this project will be donated to multiple charities, in order to help those who have gone through a similar journey as Richard.
